The CWPT is charged with assessing the needs of the community workforce in order to strategically position students for success and respond to changing industry needs. The CWPT has worked with APS to develop a five-year plan that will be the cornerstone for the development of APS academic and career pathways. This unique, community-led effort provides APS graduates with meaningful postsecondary choices and workforce readiness skills. The CWPT five-year plan focuses on the following areas:
Identifying community educational and workforce needs
Improving educational outcomes
Involving industry with education
Increasing employment opportunities
